BREEDING:
• Place Doe into Bucks cage
• Breed 3 times 30 minutes apart or Twice 8 hrs apart
• Place nest box in cage at 28 days (babies come at 30 days or as late as 36 days)
• Rebreed the Doe within 3 days after she has bunnies
o If Doe keeps the babies, like in the summer, then rebreed at 26 to 28 days after she had babies.
o If you miss at 28 days then go to 40 to 42 days after she dropped. (2 week cycle from when doe has bunnies)
• Wean babies at 14 days old
• Nest box is used in cage for 16 to 18 days then get babies on hey on top of the wire. Use fine blade grass hay.
• Separate babies from mother at 6 to 8 weeks (6 weeks for big litter or 8 weeks for small litter)
• Place nest box back in cage 28 days after Doe was rebreed

Baby BUNNIES
• Wean babies at 14 days old
• Start with 1 table spoon Alf Alfa leaves and 8-10 pellets
• Gradually decrease Alf Alfa and increase pellets
• At 2 ½ to 4 months add oats and ½ table spoon docks
• At 7 months feed 2 table spoons pellets and small amount of Alf Alfa
• Feed Holland lops ½ cup feed per day
• Add vitamin E oil to feed (wheat germ oil) about 1 tablespoon per 25 lbs.
